We have endeavoured to make this site usable and accessible. We would like all visitors to be able find the information they are looking for quickly and easily. Finding your place in the site

The main menu appears across the top of the page with, in most cases, a sub-menu down the left. Your location within the site can be identified by the highlighting of the selected area.

Returning to the home page

When you want to return to the home page, you can click on the College logo (at the top of the navigation on every page).

Increasing the size of the text

Most browsers allow you to change the size of the font displayed on the screen either permanently or temporarily. How you increase the font depends upon what browser you are using. Examples of how to increase or decrease fonts in several browsers follows:
  • Internet Explorer Version 5.5 and above provides 5 font sizes (largest, larger, medium, smaller, and smallest). Medium is the default size. You change font size by holding the "Alt" key then pressing "V" followed by "X" to then select the size you want from the list If you have a wheel on your mouse you can also increase and decrease the size of the text by press and hold the "CTRL" key, then move the wheel up and down to change the size of the text.
  • Opera Version 6.0 and above. You increase or decrease the displayed font size by holding the "Alt" key then pressing "V" followed by "Z" to then select the size you want from the list. If you have a wheel on your mouse you can also increase and decrease the size of the text by press and hold the "CTRL" key, then move the wheel up and down to change the size of the text.
  • Netscape Navigator Version 4.7x and above allows users to increase or decrease font size with shortcut keys. To increase the displayed font size, hold down the "Ctrl" key and press the "]" key.To decrease the displayed font size, hold down the "Ctrl" key and press the "[" key. Your selected font size will remain in effect until you close Netscape.

Skipping the navigation

If you are using an audio browser and don't wish to have the navigation read out to you on any page, we have included a 'skip navigation' link as one of the first entries on the text-version of the pages. If you select this link you will be taken straight to the page heading, and then the page content.
