Art and the Environment
Writtle University College
Design Degree Show 2017
How can creative thinking help us tackle global issues?
This course explores how artists and designers can respond to and reimagine the environmental, social and artistic issues of the contemporary world, whilst developing their own creative practice in line with their career aspirations.
Whether you choose BA (Hons) Art and the Environment, or the BA (Hons) Art and the Environment with Floral Design, you will engage in a rigorous examination of the environment through a creative lens. You will be encouraged to express yourself freely and innovatively using both traditional and natural materials, which ultimately will allow you to develop a focused career pathway within the creative industries embracing your own art practice or a career in Floral Design.
The creative industry is a growing and dynamic place. Our Art and Design course is designed with a practical approach which recognises and embraces your individuality. You will flourish, by learning in a dedicated Art and Design studio alongside like-minded students and industry experts.
