First Aid at Work Re-qualification (QCA)

About the Course

This two day re-qualification training for First Aiders in the workplace, reviews original course material and updates on advances in techniques and changes in legislation.

It is a HSE requirement that participants bring their First Aid at Work certificate with them. This must be an original and not a photocopy.

Participants who attend our first aid courses will be required to pass a final practical assessment. The qualification is renewable within three years.

Do you work in a “High Risk” workplace such as Forestry, Agriculture, Construction or Security (Crowd Management)?

Do you have tourniquets and haemostatic dressings in your First Aid kit?

As a work place First Aider, is it possible you may be required to deal with extreme bleeding, likely to cause death within minutes?

If you answered yes to the above questions, you may be entitled to a complimentary additional hour of training so please mention this at the time of booking.

Entry Requirements

Please come appropriately dressed for practical sessions.

Useful Information

Free parking is available on campus; a permit will be issued and should be clearly displayed.

Participant may wish to bring their own packed lunch, although the Tea Rooms and college Garden Room restaurant are both open for lunch. Refreshments will be provided.
