About the Course

This one day course is ideal for anyone requiring basic First Aid training. Holding a current First Aid certificate is an important life-skill and an asset to any future employer. Topics covered include:

The role of the first aider

Managing an incident

Resuscitation (CPR)

Shock

Bleeding

This course is designed for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.

Entry Requirements

Please come appropriately dressed for practical sessions.

Useful Information

Free parking is available on campus; a permit will be issued and should be clearly displayed.

Participant may wish to bring their own packed lunch, although the Tea Rooms and college Garden Room restaurant are both open for lunch. Refreshments will be provided.
