About the Course

This 2 hour programme is aimed at those working in “High Risk” industries such as Forestry, Agriculture, Construction and Security (Crowd Management).

Do you have tourniquets and haemostatic dressings in your First Aid kit?

As a work place First Aider, is it possible you may be required to deal with extreme bleeding, likely to cause death within minutes?

Our course will cover application of tourniquets and haemostatic dressings and includes practical exercises. You will also receive refresher training covering the treatment of an unconscious casualty, resuscitation and shock.

Entry Requirements

All participants must already hold a current First Aid at Work Certificate

Useful Information

Free parking is available on campus; a permit will be issued and should be clearly displayed.

Refreshments will be provided.
